Yang Fengyi

Yang Fengyi, female, Han nationality, born in November 1962, is a member of the Communist Party of China, President of the North Kunqu Opera Theater, vice chairman of the Chinese Dramatists Association, vice chairman of the Beijing Dramatists Association, first-class actor and representative inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage project (Kunqu Opera). Member of the 10th Committee of the Chinese Federation of literary and art circles. He won the plum blossom Award for Chinese drama and the Wenhua award in the 12th China Art Festival for his creation of a dream of Red Mansions.

Actively carry out foreign cultural exchanges, won the "2006 Florence International Women's award.". In the eight years of the 1980s, she participated in five films and five TV plays, including the 83 version of the TV play journey to the West.

In 1990, Mao Sui volunteered to play the leading role of a CI in Xihe, which was well received by his peers after the public performance. "Princess Dongdu" later appeared in the play "chessboard".

Since 1994, he has starred in Beijing Opera "Princess Turandot" in Italy for four times and participated in the opera "Princess Turandot" performed by the Italian Roman opera house.

In 1998, he was vice president of the North Kunqu Opera Theater.

On the first day of the Chinese New Year in 2001, Kunqu Opera "the concubine's journey to the East" was performed in Poly Theater, with twin sisters Yang Fengyi and Yang Jieyi as the leading roles. Sister Yang Jieyi plays the role of empress Xiaoqian of Japan, while sister Yang Fengyi plays the role of concubine Yang Guifei.

In March 2006, she won the 2006 Florence International Women's award in Florence, Italy. This is the first time that a Chinese has won the award since it was established 15 years ago.

Kunqu star Yang Fengyi has a twin sister named Yang Jieyi. Originally, she was going to be called Yang Meiyi, but because she changed her name to Yang Meiyi, she changed her name to Fengyi. The twin sisters studied drama at the same time and came to the Chinese opera academy at the age of 11.
