Wang Yan
Wang Yan (1900-1980), born in Chenjiagou, Wenxian County, Henan Province. Chen Style Taijiquan is the main successor of the ninth generation. Chen Yanxi, the proud disciple of Taijiquan master at the end of Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, is one of the four old vajras of Chenjiagou.

In particular, the spring and autumn broadsword dances very well. It's impenetrable and perfect. It makes people afraid to step forward.

In the early 1950s, he set up accounts to teach apprentices. In 1958, Chen zhaopi returned to his hometown from Zhengzhou. Wang abandoned the old martial arts habits and let his disciples learn from him. Many apprentices have made great progress in their boxing skills. In his later years, Wang Fuli (son), Wang Changjiang (grandson), Zhu Huhu (grandson), Wang Hu (nephew grandson), Cao Erzhu, Zhang Jiasen, Zheng Taigong, Ji Dingzhou, Chen Jimi, Chen guogen, Cui Qiuxi, Wang Chunjing, Wang Changtai, Wang Changxi, Chen Qinghua, Chen Tiancheng, Wang Tianbao, Zhang Kuiyuan, Chen Dagou, Zhang xiaonao, Chen Guosheng, Chen Yongfu, and Wang Hongfu were awarded all the skills he had learned in his life Zhijun, Yan Zhongzhou, Zhang Nao, Chen Qun and many other disciples, as well as countless scholars from various places and villages. His hardworking spirit and broad mind set an example for future generations and made outstanding contributions to the inheritance and development of traditional Chen's Taijiquan.
