He Yumen
He Yumen, director and screenwriter of Chinese art film. Born in Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province. He once worked in Qiqihar literature and art work group and people's education center. After liberation, he worked in the art film group of northeast film studio, and was transferred to shanghai art film studio in 1956. His first work the boasting frog was well received. The main works are "little carp jumping over the dragon's gate", "children", "good cat Mimi", "good summer and winter" and so on. Among them, "little carp jumps over the dragon's gate" won the silver award of the first Moscow International Film Festival in 1959; and "good cat Mimi" won the excellent new film award of the Ministry of culture in 1979. He wrote eleven cartoon plays.
