Wang Xiaohui

Wang Xiaohui, born in Tianjin in 1957, is a Chinese artist in Germany.

In 1986, he obtained a master's degree in architecture from Tongji University in Shanghai. Twenty years ago, he went to Germany to study and engage in artistic creation, writing and lecturing. Now living in Munich and Shanghai.

Acting experience

In 1983, he received a bachelor's degree in architecture from Tongji University; in 1986, he received a master's degree in architecture from Research Institute of Tongji University; in 1987, he won a scholarship from Karl Duisburg government of Germany; as a visiting scholar, he went to Germany to study and investigate the architecture of European countries; from 1987 to 1991, he studied for a doctor's degree in the Department of architecture of Munich University of technology; from 1988 to 1991, he studied architecture in Munich University of technology Lecturer, Professor of classical architecture and garden art of the people's Republic of China. From 1990 to 1992, he studied in the Directing Department of Film Academy of Munich. From 1991 to now, he has become a full member of the National Professional Artists Association (BBK) of Germany. As a freelance artist, he has engaged in photography, writing, exhibition and lecture activities (published 26 personal books and picture albums, some of which have been reprinted many times) From 2001 to now, he is a part-time professor of Art Center and Media Art College of Tongji University in Shanghai / a visiting professor of Modern Image Art College of Central University for Nationalities in Beijing.
