Character evaluation
In the movie I love long hair floating, although Lin Lisheng's grasp of the lens language is still a little immature, and even has some shadow of "student work" in the film academy, his smooth story, distinctive characters and relaxed and humorous narrative style have reflected his solid narrative skills. Paying attention to the communication with the audience is Lin Lisheng's idea in the process of editing and directing digital films, which also lays the foundation for his mainstream creative style (review of Journal of Beijing Film Academy).
Lin Lisheng looks like a chivalrous man. Unlike many moderate academic directors, his personality is really like a sharp chivalrous man. He always shows the responsibility of filmmakers with his own actions, so he never hides his anger. In the movie "one million crocodiles", Lin Lisheng reversed the idea of monster movie which only focuses on visual impact, injected comedy elements into it, formed his own unique aesthetic style, and the special effects were also surprising (mtime time online review).
Character controversy
In May 2009, Lin Lisheng was sued by Nanjing amateur dramatist Xia Debao. The latter claimed that Lin Lisheng's novel of the same name based on the TV series the lancet copied his play the gate of life. In March 2011, the higher people's Court of Jiangsu Province made a judgment on this, and found that "the two expressions are completely different, and there is no similarity. The lancet does not plagiarize the gate of life, and Xia Debao's proposition is not tenable. In June 2012, the court made a final judgment, maintaining the original judgment.
