Mao Zedong and his son is a well received film by Zhang Jinbiao. Based on historical facts, the film creates a real, credible and respectable image of Mao Zedong. It shows a great thinker's ethical affection and beautiful ideological realm. Describes Mao Zedong as a leader, but also as an ordinary person's feelings. The film combines the greatness and true feelings of a great man with documentary style, and at the same time, it has a strong Lyric color. The lens is mainly static, moving at medium speed, and medium shot. In terms of scene scheduling, layout, costumes and props, the film strives to truly reproduce the true face of history and enhance the sense of history and credibility. Character evaluation
"Amateur actor" Jia Yun's version of Mao Zedong appeared and was praised by the chairman's former housekeeper. At the premiere ceremony in Guangzhou, Wu Liandeng, the former housekeeper of Mao Zedong, and Qian Sijie, the former full-time photographer of Mao Zedong, both came. When they saw Jia Yun's appearance, they exclaimed, "it's really like him!"
The director of "catch-1" is Zhang Jinbiao, the main melody director. He has won "Huabiao Award" and "Golden Rooster Hundred Flowers Award" for many times. He admitted: "let Jia Yun play Mao Zedong, I was also a little distracted at the beginning, because he not only played Mao Zedong for the first time, but also had no professional performance training before." But Jia Yun, an "amateur actor", surprised him in the end. Zhang Jinbiao said: "he performed the vigor, domineering and enterprising spirit of Young Mao Zedong. I don't tell him much because he is very savvy and willing to bear hardships. " He also praised Jia Yun for his resemblance to Mao Zedong, and quoted the words of the old makeup artist of Bayi film studio, who made up Jia Yun: "I used to strengthen Mao Zedong's makeup for Gu Yue and the Tang Dynasty. It turns out that Jia Yun's makeup takes the shortest time, the fastest speed, and uses the least cosmetics - basically just a mole."
