Chen Yutian was born in November 1939 in Changchun City, Jilin Province. He is a member of China TV Artists Association and director of Liaoning TV Artists Association.

Since 1958, he has been engaged in film and television work, including film actor, drama actor, screenwriter and TV drama director.

Early experience

He has participated in three formal professional studies (Changying performance class, TV director training class of Shanghai drama academy and journalism class of politics and Literature Department of Dalian Radio and TV University), and obtained college diploma respectively.

Acting experience
