Yang Jiayun (1959.01-2012.05.31), male, born in January 1959, is a member of 5 teams of Houjia community, Xihua street, Jinniu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, and a former member of the maintenance patrol team of Houjia community, Xihua street, Jinniu District, Chengdu City. Chengdu is a brave man for a just cause, a citizen of Jinniu District, Chengdu, and a candidate of "China good man list" in February 2013. He is also a member of Wenshan Writers Association.

Characters and deeds

At about 18:00 on May 30, 2012, when Yang Jiayun was about to leave work after the shift handover, he learned that someone was making trouble in a farmhouse in the jurisdiction, so he went to deal with it immediately. When Yang Jiayun arrived at Nongjiale, he found the troublemaker standing on the wall and was very excited. In the face of the irrational behavior of the troublemakers, Yang Jiayun patiently persuades them. After a while, the troublemaker suddenly jumped down from the wall and rushed to the crowd. Seeing that the situation was critical, Yang Jiayun rushed forward to stop his illegal behavior regardless of his personal safety. In the fight with the troublemaker, the troublemaker grabbed his neck and hit him on the head with a stick. At that time, the head was bleeding. Yang Jiayun was knocked unconscious and fell into a pool of blood on the spot. Then the patrolmen and police officers rushed to the police station sent Yang Jiayun to the hospital for treatment. In the early morning of May 31, 2012, due to serious injury, Yang Jiayun died at the age of 53.

personal honor

On August 1, 2012, Yang Jiayun was awarded the honorary title of "Jinniu District volunteer citizen" by the people's Government of Jinniu District, Chengdu. on November 15, 2012, the Chengdu Municipal People's government issued the decision on awarding Li Fengyu and other three comrades the honorary title of "Chengdu brave man for a just cause" (CFF [2012] No. 43). According to the relevant provisions of the regulations of Sichuan Province on the protection and reward of just cause, the Chengdu Municipal People's government decided to award Yang Jiayun the honorary title of "Chengdu brave man for a just cause". in February 2013, he was shortlisted as a good Chinese candidate in the "good Chinese list".
