Guo Ruixi was born in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province. He once served as the host of "the moment of Caihong" of Zhenjiang TV station for four years. He was specially invited to sing "courage" with Liang Jingru for "the same song" of CCTV.

In 2009, he starred in the comedy "Mars baby Mars is OK" directed by Liu Yiwei, in which he guest starred as a female secretary.
