Hu TU was born in December 1955 in Shennongjia, Hubei Province.
As a way of life, he chose painting. Because of his preference, he has been focusing on the exploration and expression of the stream theme for nearly 30 years. Try to show the clear, sparkling and refreshing intuitive impression of Shennongjia Creek and the dreamy, ethereal and mysterious feeling of Shennongjia mountain covered with fog and flowers in the fog. Every year, nearly 30 years, I hope to find my own language symbol system to express my aesthetic feeling.
Artistic achievements
The author tries to use western painting as a means of expression and Chinese landscape painting as a way of making a draft. By using the techniques of planarization, symbolization and abstraction, the author tries to make the picture, at first glance, a clear stream and a sparkling intuitive reappearance; at second, an abstract combination of gorgeous color dots, color blocks and flexible lines; it seems to be a true portrayal, more importantly, an ideal fairyland; hope The picture has not only the simple style of freehand brushwork of traditional Chinese painting, but also the rich, implicit and elegant colors of Western painting. The abstract fusion of concrete images and the intersection of Chinese and Western (two long) make the whole picture overflow with a strong fresh local flavor of Shennongjia landscape. Maybe this is the semi new symbol system that the author has been looking for in the past 30 years to express his feelings! First, "Che" series "Shuishi" won the "academic award" of Hubei watercolor Biennale Exhibition in 1998; second, "Shuishi" published by watercolor art, an authoritative professional watercolor magazine in 1999; third, "Xiaoxi" won the "second prize" of National Teachers' watercolor and gouache joint exhibition in 2002
