Shen Wei
Shen Wei, born in Hong Kong in 1951, is a Hong Kong actor. In 1984, he played the role of "Artest" in "provincial and Hong Kong flag soldiers" and won the best supporting actor of the Hong Kong Film Awards.
On April 14, 2019, he was transferred to ICU due to poor health.
Personal experience
He began to appear in movies in the 1970s, but he didn't show up. Until 1984, he took part in the "provincial and Hong Kong flag soldiers" directed by Mai Dangxiong, playing the role of two faced Artest. With his outstanding performance in the film, he won the best supporting actor award of the 1985 Hong Kong Film Awards, thus becoming famous. Since then, he has been a supporting actor or villain in all kinds of films for a long time. His acting career has also been involved in directing, supervising and screenwriting. He has played and directed more than 200 film and television works.
In 1990, he wrote, directed and acted the last big man in the lake for the first time, starring Stephen Chow, Ke Junxiong, Wu Ma and Cheng kui'an.
In the mid-1990s, Shen Wei joined TVB for a short time and performed several TV plays.
In the 2000s, Shen Wei retired from the film and television circle and lived in Beijing for a long time. On April 14, 2019, he was sent to Luhe hospital for treatment due to poor health and transferred to ICU for rescue.
