Sun Qiming
Sun Qiming, formerly known as Xiaochan, was employed by his former name. He was born in liuxinggou village of Laiwu in 1899. He was admitted to Tai'an middle school in 1915 and soon dropped out to go home. In 1917, he was employed as a primary school teacher. In 1925, he became a shareholder and started an oil mill. Later, he worked as a farmer. He joined the Chinese Kuomintang in the spring of 1929. In the autumn of the same year, he was appointed director of the county farmers' Association. In the autumn of 1931, he studied in Zouping Rural Construction Research Institute. Later, with the support of the CPC Laiwu underground organization, he was elected as the director general of the county farmers' Association.

In 1932, he joined the Communist Party of China and carried out the party's underground work as a National Party member and the director general of the farmers' Association, making the farmers' Association the activity center of the Laiwu County Committee of the Communist Party of China. When the KMT Laiwu county Party headquarters and the Finance Bureau of the county government attempted to cut off the funds for the farmers' Association, they resolutely carried out the instructions of the CPC Laiwu County Committee that "the farmers' Association should exist and cover the party's activities", fought according to reason, forced the authorities to issue silver coins regularly, and consolidated the activity position of the county committee. Later, he played the legitimate role of the county farmers' Association in clearing the corruption case of Bi Huaqiao, the county financial director, and actively cooperated with the underground organizations of the Communist Party of China. Finally, the Shandong provincial government detained Bi Jiesheng, punished the military staff, and recovered part of the stolen money. In the struggle against Hao Boheng, the chief of the finance and grain Department of the county government, Qiao, the judge of the county court, Zhang Zuoping, and Zhang Baicheng, the chairman of the County Federation of farmers, the role of the county farmers' Association was effectively played. In the past four years, under the leadership and support of the CPC Laiwu County Committee, in order to safeguard the interests of the people and crack down on corrupt officials, he spared no effort to go east and West and became famous inside and outside the county. After Liu Boge and Zhou Maosen betrayed the party in 1935, sun Qiming and Bi guidao went to Jiangxian County of Shanxi Province to hide. In 1936, he transferred to Zouping Rural Construction Research Institute alone, during which he broke away from the party organization. After the outbreak of the Anti Japanese War, he returned to Laiwu. In January 1938, he led his son and mobilized young adults to participate in the Anti Japanese armed uprising in kualai mountain. In February, he served as the director of the office of the fourth Shandong Anti Japanese guerrilla detachment of the Eighth Route Army in Lai. In August, Liang Zhuhang was elected deputy director of Laiwu county political committee and director of supply department. In August 1939, he was elected director of county political committee and chief of Civil Affairs Section of Laiwu County democratic government. In 1940, he was elected chairman of Laiwu County Council. In August 1941, he was a member of the Standing Committee of the Taishan special office. In January 1944, he served as the chief of the Civil Affairs Section of Taishan special administration. In 1945, the central Shandong district committee of the Communist Party of China made a review conclusion on his departure from the party, and sun Qiming went through the procedures of re joining the party. In July of that year, he was elected a member of the administrative committee of the central Shandong administrative office and a deputy to the Yan'an (National) people's Congress. In 1947, he served as the leader of the first brigade of Luzhong Bohai office. After July 1948, he successively served as the chief and Secretary of the judicial section of Taishan special administration. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, he successively served as the head of the Water Conservancy Bureau of the Central South Shandong administrative office, the Secretary director of the Water Conservancy Bureau of Shandong Province, the deputy director of the office of the Department of agriculture and forestry, and the director of the irrigation Bureau of the Department of water resources. After 1959, he worked in the library of Shandong University of water conservancy, engineering and agriculture. He died in 1984.
