Hard life experience

Love public welfare

On February 2, 1980, Mary Zhang married Dr. Li Zhongchen of the Hong Kong Observatory. Li Zhongchen, a scholar, has a certain reputation in his field of study, but his reputation is much smaller than that of his younger brother and Kung Fu superstar Bruce Lee. Not long after she married Li Zhongchen, Zhang gradually faded out of the entertainment industry and became a good wife and mother at home.

In addition to putting her energy on building a happy family, Mary Zhang, who once received social welfare assistance, is also particularly keen on social welfare undertakings. In 1988, she participated in the planning of the sale of "1988 sister Hong Kong charity calendar" for public welfare fund-raising activities. In October of the same year, Mary Cheung was selected as one of the "top 10 outstanding young people in Hong Kong" and became the only Miss Hong Kong in the history of sister Hong Kong.

Personal life

Mary Cheung married on February 2, 1980. Her husband is Dr. Lee Chung Chen, a member of the Ho Tung family. He is not only the elder brother of the superstar Bruce Lee, but also the ex husband of the talented woman writer Lin Yan Ni. He works as the former assistant director of the Hong Kong Observatory. After her marriage, Mary Cheung retired from the performing arts circle and devoted herself to helping her husband and children. She gave birth to a son and a daughter in 1981 and 1984 respectively. However, their marriage lasted only 15 years and they signed a divorce in 1995.

After her divorce, Mary Zhang continued to develop her career, established Mary Zhang marketing (International) Co., Ltd., and served as executive director, mainly engaged in public relations planning, marketing and professional image training. At present, Li Zhongchen died of heart disease on September 3, 2008. His son, Li Weihao, graduated from the University of Melbourne in Australia and became a professor of the University. His daughter, Li Yi, studied for a master's degree in the University.
