Maple King
Wang Feng (April 1917 February 16, 2020), formerly known as Wang Huazhang, was born in Pingchang, Sichuan Province. He joined the Red Army of workers and peasants in March 1933 and the Communist Party of China in June 1936. He once served as deputy commander of Anhui military region and retired cadre of Jiangsu military region. In 1955, he was awarded the rank of senior colonel and was awarded the three-level 81 medal, the two-level independence and freedom medal, the two-level Liberation Medal and the two-level Red Star Medal.
On February 16, 2020, Wang Feng died of illness in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, at the age of 103.
Life of the characters
During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, he served as a soldier, monitor and platoon leader of the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army. He has participated in Eastern Henan campaign, Kaifeng campaign, Dabieshan campaign, Longhai campaign and Huaihai Campaign. He has successively served as head and political commissar, deputy commander and chief of staff of the military division, director of the school affairs department of the third political cadre school, commander of Hefei military division in Anhui Province, commander of Chuxian military division, etc. On February 16, 2020, Comrade Wang Feng, a retired cadre of Jiangsu provincial military region and former deputy commander of Anhui provincial military region, died of illness in Nanjing at the age of 103.

In 1955, he was awarded the rank of senior colonel and was awarded the three-level 81 medal, the two-level independent freedom medal and the two-level Liberation Medal. He was awarded the second grade Red Star Medal in 1988.
