In the 1980s and 1990s, Luo Meiwei, Li Lizhen, Chen Jialing and Yuan jieying, who came out in the same period, formed the "happy girl group",

In 1984, he took over the film "happy ghost" from new art city and made his debut. He was only 15 and a half years old. Later, he left Xinyi City and joined Huaxing to sing Guangdong songs and shoot wireless dramas.

It began to fade out of the entertainment industry in the 1990s, only occasionally attending dances. She said she is now out of the entertainment business.

On May 27, 2016, Luo Mingzhu kept vomiting at home. Her mother rushed her to the emergency room, but she was unable to recover and died of heart disease. She was 48 years old.
