Gu Xiaobai
Gu Xiaobai, born in Dengzhou City, Henan Province in 1977, is a screenwriter and writer in mainland China.
In 2010, he participated in the film creation of Hawthorn Tree love directed by Zhang Yimou.

Gu Xiaobai has been writing film essays and reviews since 2000. He has written columns for the media such as watching movies, movie world, global report in the 21st century, information times, youth times, Huaxi, Ruili, Sina culture channel, Netease Entertainment Channel, Tom entertainment channel, etc. He has participated in writing books such as Jiawei forest, spirit of independence, and so on Walking in the movie, watching a movie in the back window, etc.
In 2002, he completed his first TV series "bound to heaven" (directed by Li Shaohong, not filmed for some reason). In 2003, he published his personal essay collection "memorandum of understanding on amnesia" (Modern Press). In May 2005, Gu Xiaobai's film essays -- waiting is the first old man in his life (Gu Wuxuan Publishing House) was released. In 2006, he completed the screenwriter's first work "red kangbein" (directed by Cai Shangjun), which won the 12th Busan International Film Festival biexi international film critic award and the best film golden Alishan award of the Greek International Film Festival.
In 2008, he participated in the screenwriting of Li Shaohong's version of a dream of Red Mansions, and in 2010, he participated in the film creation of Hawthorn Tree love directed by Zhang Yimou. He took part in Gao Qunshu's film "detective Hunter Zhang" and played a liar. Together with the cast members of "detective Hunter Zhang", they all appeared on Hunan variety show "day up".
