Yu Jie
Yu Jie, male, Han nationality, was born in June 1963 in Xinji, Hebei Province and Guiyang, Guizhou Province. He joined the Communist Party of China in June 1987. Graduated from the Department of material engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, majoring in metal materials and heat treatment, with postgraduate degree, doctor of engineering, professor.
At present, he is a member of the Standing Committee of Shandong provincial Party committee, director of the Propaganda Department, chairman of the Provincial Federation of Social Sciences, Secretary of the Party committee of Shandong First Medical University (Provincial Academy of Medical Sciences), and director of Nishan world Confucianism center.

Appointment and removal
On October 10, 2020, the fourth inspection group of Shandong provincial Party Committee visited Shandong First Medical University (Provincial Academy of Medical Sciences) and the mobilization meeting of Party committee work was held. Yu Jie, member of the Standing Committee of the provincial Party committee, director of the propaganda department and Secretary of the Party committee of Shandong First Medical University (Academy of Medical Sciences), made a speech. According to the above official information, Yu Jie, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and director of the Propaganda Department, has replaced Guan zhiou as the party secretary of Shandong First Medical University (Academy of Medical Sciences).
On October 16, 2020, the Shandong Provincial People's government "Notice of Shandong Provincial People's Government on the appointment of Yu Jie and other staff" (luzhenren [2020] No. 79) appointed Yu Jie to concurrently serve as the director of Nishan world Confucianism center.
