Character evaluation
Lin Xi is like a child. Her three most important things are learning, playing and eating delicious food. One of her nicknames is "Lin Mushi". For many people, "Lin Mushi" represents a kind of yearning life, a style and possibility of mixing the present with the traditional, and integrating work and play. Because Chinese aesthetics doesn't mean nihu, all kinds of wisdom and fun have something in common, and the effort of wielding a knife 500 times a day gradually becomes the foundation of life, which makes people full and practical.
Lin Xi is good at using traditional ink to depict life in the present. She imitates the ancients in her brush and ink. She especially likes to draw beautiful scenes such as flowers, children and desk things. She reads Lin Xi's paintings and calligraphy intermittently with her left and right ventricles and big and small brains, like looking at a lush Tingzhou in the river. Her painting is the crystallization of ordinary thinking, but also reflects the life of the visual diary. Pen and ink and string are Lin Xi's game life. She is a born painter, intelligent, beautiful and talented. Her freehand brushwork, describing all living things, is the refinement of people's life aesthetic experience, minority culture can be introduced as confidants, the public can find resonance (curator, art critic Lu Rongzhi comments). Lin Xi is devoted to the translation and dissemination of traditional Chinese aesthetics and literati's life style. Based on her ten years of teaching experience for zero basic adults, Lin Xi, a Chinese ink painter, has condensed her knowledge, thinking and understanding of calligraphy into a book, providing readers who love traditional culture with the possibility of systematic learning and practice.
