Pan Weixing was born in 1939 in Yixing, Jiangsu Province. He graduated from the Central Academy of drama in 196O. First class actor of Guangzhou dialect troupe. Member of China Drama Association, director of Guangdong Drama Association, vice chairman of Guangzhou Drama Association.

Since 1956, he has played the leading role in more than 60 dramas and participated in shooting more than 30 films and TV programs. Created and performed five plays. The representative works of the performance include young generation as Xiao Jiye, friends and enemies of jidushan as jidushan, thunderstorm as Zhou Chong and Zhou Ping, bon voyage as Andre, wind of the South as Liu Lixun, oh, women as five roles, emotion as Cui Changhe, acting mayor, Grand Canyon and grand showdown, and engineers on TV "The sea area" and so on.

He has won the second "Wenhua Award" of the Ministry of culture, the "Golden Lion Award" of the Chinese Language Research Association, the "Lu Xun Literature and Art Award" of Guangdong Province, the first prize of performance and the second prize of TV flying sky.
