Born in Sichuan in 1941, Cai Yuanyuan was put into Shanghai Children's Education Center for good care and education. At the age of 7, he was selected by art master Huang zuolin to play an important role in the film watch. After liberation, he reunited with his parents and went to Beijing to study. In 1961, he was admitted to the director department of Beijing Film Academy. After graduation, he went to Changying. Soon after that, he encountered the unprecedented cultural revolution, and his family was criticized and reorganized. in the early 1980s, China was faced with reform and opening up, and the film industry was greatly developed. Together with his brother Cai an, he left his job without pay and formally established Cai brothers film company, with its headquarters in Zhuhai. After that, the company introduced foreign capital, cooperated with Inner Mongolia and Taiwan, and successfully put Mr. Zhang Henshui's "the cause of crying and laughing" on the screen. Together with Macao, the company co produced the first film "the tomb of the night robber Princess (upper and lower)", which was directed by Cai Yuanyuan and featured entertainment, adventure and strangeness. It created the second sales record in 1989 and sold more than 300 copies, which has been a good story. On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the birth of Chinese film in 1995, Cai Yuanyuan appeared in the Great Hall of the people in Beijing as a director. His new work "the temptation of pigtails" shocked the film world at one stroke. It is a film reflecting Macao's local culture and filling the gap in Macao's film industry.
