Wu Siyuan
Seeyuen ng, born in Shanghai on April 22, 1944, is a director, producer, producer and producer of Chinese film and television, and a member of the 10th Committee of the Chinese Federation of literary and art circles.
In 1966, he joined Shao brothers (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. and studied in the editing and Directing Department of Nanguo experimental theater company. In 1970, he co directed the film crazy killer with Luo Zhen. In 1972, he co founded Fuguo film company with Zhu huangui, and directed the film "dangkoutan" in the same year. In 1973, he founded Siyuan film company. On June 28, 1974, the action film "the little godfather of Hong Kong" was released. On April 20, 1977, the kung fu film "fighting the Golden Fox" was released. In 1998, he was awarded the bronze Bauhinia Star by the Hong Kong SAR government. In 2001, he was appointed justice of the peace by the Hong Kong SAR government.
In 2014, the animated film "dinosaur racing car" was released, and in the same year, it won the outstanding achievement award of Chinese film in the 12th China Changchun Film Festival.
Early experience
Wu Siyuan, a native of Xiangshan (now Shanchang village, Zhuhai, Guangdong Province), was born in Shanghai in 1944. He loved reading books and movies since childhood, and read all kinds of famous books at home and abroad. In 1958, 14-year-old Wu Siyuan moved to Hong Kong with his family. After graduating from the new law college of Hong Kong, Wu Siyuan first went to teach in a middle school in Hong Kong. There were not many classes, but his salary was not too low. But gradually, he began to get involved in the film industry. In 1967, "Shao brothers" held a film editing and directing class, and Wu Siyuan signed up to participate. After learning, he entered the "Shao brothers" on the spot. His loss is not small. His income as a teacher is HK $800, while his income as a teacher is only HK $200. But it was an opportunity to realize his wish. He didn't want to give up and started his film career.
Acting experience
In 1971, Wu Siyuan's first film, crazy killer, was released. In 1972, the director's action movie "dangkoutan" was released, which set a box office record of HK $1.76 million in Hong Kong. On December 6 of the same year, the director's action movie "hungry tiger and wild dragon" was released.
In 1973, Siyuan film company was established. On June 28, 1974, the action film "the godfather of Hong Kong" was released, starring Liang Xiaolong and Kuroda BaoZhao.
