Hu Meifang
Hu Meifang (1926-2009), a Japanese Chinese singer, was originally named Hu chaozi. He was born in Hainan city, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan in 1926. Hu Meifang entered the singing world in 1952 and became popular again in Japan with such Chinese Golden Songs as "the fragrance of the night" and "when will you come again".

In 1978, he returned to Shanghai, China to visit his relatives and met his relatives who had been away for nearly 34 years. since 2006, Hu Meifang has been hospitalized frequently due to illness, and in fact quit the Japanese performing arts industry.
Death
On November 7, 2009, he died at 0:28 in a hospital in motita District, Tokyo. He was 82 years old. The farewell ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on the 13th at the Lizhu guild hall in Shinagawa District, Tokyo, with his eldest son, Shinzo Nishida, as the mourner.
