Xu Guang
Xu Guang (April 7, 1929 - January 6, 2013), born in xujiawa, Chengmagang Township, Macheng County, Hubei Province (now Hepu brigade, Tianpu Township, henanxin county), is a member of the Communist Party of China with university culture. He has served successively as a soldier, Captain and captain of the North Sea fleet of the Navy, a staff officer, chief of military section and vice minister of the people's Armed Forces Department of Xinxian County, Henan Province, and a deputy director of the Standing Committee of the people's Congress of Xinxian county.
At 2:44 on January 6, 2013, he died of sudden myocardial infarction, aged 84.

Xu Guang was born to Xu Shiyou's eldest son and his hairy wife Zhu Ximing. His nickname was "black Ya". He was born a farmer at home. After the liberation of the whole country, he found general Xu to enter the army. Later, he returned to Xinxian county to serve his grandmother as the vice Minister of the Armed Forces Department and retired as the deputy director of the county people's Congress.
Xu Guang's four children are Xu Daokun, Xu daolun, Xu Daojiang and Xu DaoHai. Xu Daojiang, the daughter of Xu Guang, was born in 1968. She is the assistant of the lieutenant colonel of the Ministry of health of the Logistics Department of the Second Artillery Corps.

As the eldest son of founding General Xu Shiyou, he returned to Xinxian County of Henan Province in 1965 to devote himself to the construction of his hometown. When Xu Guang was less than 3 years old, General Xu Shiyou left the Dabie Mountains with the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army. He is the main prototype of Pan Dongzi, the hero of the shining red star. In his youth, he served in the North Sea fleet and was one of the first batch of warship commanders with bachelor's degree. In 1965, he devoted himself to the construction of his hometown and served as vice minister of the county Armed Forces Department and deputy director of the county people's Congress for 48 years. After he was a general, he was willing to be clothed and worked hard to change the appearance of his hometown. He was closely related to the people. During the 20 years of Ren county's vice minister of the Ministry of people's armed forces, he went from village to village, closely contacted the masses, and established the "three no" Regulations of not drinking, not smoking, and not eating meat in the countryside. After changing jobs, he held the leading position in the county and still kept his true colors. After three days of flood relief, he was in a coma again.
Xu Guang inherited the fine tradition and style of the older generation of revolutionaries, repeatedly gave up the opportunity to return to the army for promotion or transfer to work in the city, and firmly rooted in Xinxian. He is an open and aboveboard man. He never regards himself as the descendant of a general, and he never asks for the favor of his children and relatives. Xu Guang's two sons, the only two grandchildren of General Xu Shiyou when he was alive, were demobilized and returned to the county. Now they are all ordinary staff. Xu Guang worked hard and plain all his life. Until his death, he still used the big cabinet in the 1970s, the sofa in the 1980s and the old TV in the 1990s. He was poor all his life, but he gave more than 100000 yuan to the old Red Army. Before he died, he donated all his 200000 yuan savings to charity in his hometown.

Born in xujiawa, Chengmagang Township, Macheng County, Hubei Province, in 1929, his father, Xu Shiyou, was less than 3 years old when he joined the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army to fight in Sichuan and Shaanxi from Dabie Mountains. Xu Guang was led by his mother to wander and beg everywhere, living a hard life. In order to protect Xu Guang, my aunt hid in the cave for three days and three nights when the enemy swept the base area of Hubei, Henan and Anhui.
In 1948, my grandmother found Wang Shusheng, who was in Macheng at that time. Xu Guang lived in Wang Shusheng and Yang Ju's grandmother's home for more than half a year. Then he was sent to Xu Shiyou, the father of the then commander of Shandong military region, and the father and son met. Seeing his young and childish son who didn't know a word, Xu Shiyou sent Xu Guang to the fifth aviation academy and Dalian Naval Academy.
From 1951 to 1958, he became one of the first batch of navy officers and excellent ship captains with bachelor's degree in the Republic of China. But his father asked him to go back to his hometown, take care of his grandmother and perform filial piety for him. Although Xu Guang didn't agree, seeing his father's painful expression, he made the most difficult decision in his life - to go back to his hometown Xinxian. On the day of returning home, Xu Shiyou said with tears: "Da'an, you are my good son!" (Xu Guang's original name was Xu Da'an, and later Xu Shiyou changed it to Xu Guang).
Back in Xinxian for more than 40 years, Xu Guangxian worked in the Ministry of armed forces for 20 years, successively serving as the chief of staff, section chief and vice minister. Until he changed his job, he was still an old vice regiment. At that time, Xu Shiyou was in a high position and was well known to all the Chinese and the military. For the construction and development of the new County, Xu Guang wrote letters to Xu Shiyou many times to help the county communicate and coordinate some construction projects and allocate military materials.
