Xie Tao, female, born in 1967, is a famous young performing artist of Jin opera, a national first-class actor, a recipient of special allowance granted by the State Council, a winner of "plum blossom Award" of Chinese drama, a winner of "Wenhua performance award" of the Ministry of culture, and a winner of "White Magnolia drama leading role award" of Shanghai, China.
At present, he is vice chairman of Taiyuan Federation of literary and art circles, vice president of Taiyuan experimental Jinju theater, honorary president of Taiyuan Jinju Art Research Institute, and the ninth vice president of China Dramatist Association.
Biography of characters
In 1978, he entered Taiyuan culture and art school; later, he entered Taiyuan culture and art school and studied under the older generation of Jin opera performing artist Li Yuexian.
In 1982, he entered the experimental Jin opera academy for internship; after the internship, he worked in the Youth Troupe of Taiyuan experimental Jin opera academy.
At present, he is vice chairman of Taiyuan Federation of literary and art circles, vice president of Taiyuan experimental Jin opera academy, and honorary president of Taiyuan Jin opera art academy.

Artistic career
Xie Tao's mother is an actor of Jin opera. At the age of 11, Xie Tao went to Taiyuan culture and art school to study Jin opera. At the age of 15, she began to practice in the experimental Jin opera academy. At the age of 16, Xie Tao, who has already begun to show her talent in Dan role, turned to the deep and connotative Xusheng business. Xie Tao's Youth Troupe of Taiyuan experimental Jin opera academy has to complete about 260 performances a year, up to 400 at most, and most of them are performed in rural areas, one after another. The plum blossom award winner's footprints are left everywhere in Shanxi.
In 2001, Xie Tao brought Jin opera to Europe for the first time to let the world know the traditional culture of Jin opera, which was warmly welcomed by European audiences.
Taking Jin opera as the carrier, we have adapted Lu Hua, Fan Jin Zhong Ju, and the foot of Langke mountain. In 2003, "Fan Jin Zhongju" began to be put into production. In three years' time, it was changed and performed at the same time, and its draft was changed several times. Finally, it became a play with innovative ideas and close to the aesthetic of the times. It was also another excellent play after "Ding Guoxian" by Xie Tao. In October 2005, Xie Tao took Fan Jin Zhongju to the 7th Shanghai International Art Festival. This is another trip to Shanghai after 69 years of Jin opera. The whole performance is unprecedented and has caused a sensation in Shanghai. Thanks to his excellent performance in "Fan Jin Zhong Ju", Xie Tao won the 16th "White Magnolia drama performance art leading role award" in Shanghai, China.
In October 2007, he took Fu Shan to Beijing to Shanghai to attend the 9th Shanghai International Art Festival.
On May 18, 2009, the "Second China Drama Award · plum blossom Performing Art Award" (the 24th China Drama Plum Blossom Award) Award Presentation evening hosted by China Federation of literary and art circles and China Dramatists Association was held here. Xie Tao won the first place in the second plum with his new Jin opera Fu Shan Jin Jing.
In April 2011, Xie Tao accepted Li Guoping and he yanru from the experimental group of Taiyuan Jinju Art Research Institute as apprentices.
