Wang Yamin (June 1923 - November 14, 2020), born in Xiaoxian County, Anhui Province, joined the Communist Party of China in April 1939. He once served as deputy director and Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of CAAC.
Wang Yamin died in Shanghai on November 14, 2020 at the age of 97.
Biography of characters
He has successively served as a soldier, instructor, company commander, battalion commander, Secretary of the Party committee, member of the division Party committee, chief of staff of the regiment, deputy head of the regiment, etc.
In 1950, he was the chief of Wuhan aviation center station of the air force.
At the end of 1953, he served as the deputy director of the Central South Management Department of the Civil Aviation Administration of the CMC.
In July 1957, he served as director and party secretary of Guangzhou Civil Aviation Management Office.
In February 1959, he served as director of Guangzhou Administration of civil aviation, Secretary of the Party committee and President of the fourth Aviation School of civil aviation.
In June 1964, he served as director and Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of Lanzhou administration of civil aviation and member of the Party committee of the air force of Lanzhou Military Region.
In December 1976, he was transferred to director and party secretary of Shanghai Administration of civil aviation.
Wang was appointed deputy director of CAAC in October 1979 and retired in 1985.
