Personal story
In his early years, under the influence of Dr. Sun Yat Sen's progressive thought, Mr. Jiang loved his motherland and hometown. He had close ties with the national revolutionary organizations abroad, and was enthusiastic in donating huge funds to the national salvation movement.
During his return to China in 1915, he witnessed and experienced the situation of foreigners' tyranny in the motherland. Foreigners can insult the Chinese people as dogs, while China is in a war of warlords and scattered sand. There is nothing he can do to change the face of China. After he returned to China, he got help from progressive organizations and saw the future and destiny of China. Only by establishing his own strong revolutionary army and fighting can China have hope. In order to meet the needs of the revolution, Mr. Jiang built a 200 square meter tile house in the woods at the end of Yandun village on the East Bank of Luohe River. It was named "qulailu" as his "foothold". He used the word "qulailu" as his sustenance, and often traveled to Southeast Asia to support the revolution. In 1924, he arranged Nanyang's shops properly, which were managed by the people of his hometown. He directly participated in the revolution in his hometown for a long time. Under the arrangement of the organization, he established a chamber of Commerce in Da'an Town. He was elected chairman of the chamber of Commerce and concurrently served as the chief of the people's police in Da'an. At that time, he joined the Communist Party of China and did underground party work.
From 1925 to 1927, he became a father and taught his son well. He encouraged his eldest son Yingyi to study hard, learn his skills well and take part in the revolution.
In 1924, when his eldest son Ying Yi was studying in Guangzhou, he took part in the study and training of Pengpai Agricultural Institute and followed pengpai back to hailufeng to carry out the peasant movement. Ying Yi joined the Communist Party of China in 1925. The father and son cooperated with each other and kept close contact. Taking Southwest, liaocuoxiang, huangtang and other places as revolutionary strongholds, they organized and mobilized the masses to participate in the revolutionary work together with the underground party. During the first Civil Revolutionary War in 1927, Lufeng became a white area. It was full of dark clouds, thunder and lightning, and heavy rain. To meet the needs of the revolution, he organized and sent literary students to work in the southwest. Unfortunately, he was captured by Kuomintang reactionaries at the entrance of Shenkeng Village, and then transferred to Lucheng, where he was severely beaten by the enemy. Later, he was killed and killed in the street. Later, the reactionaries sent people to set fire to the houses and belongings of "qulailu", leaving only some grey walls. The reactionaries were willing to do so, and ordered that if they caught Jiang Wensheng's family members, they would not have to interrogate them twice. Under the threat of this reactionary force, the family members did not dare to go home, nor could they bury the bodies of the martyrs, and then the organization entrusted their relatives and friends to take care of them. At this time, the family had to flee to beg. Martyr Jiang Wensheng died at the age of 62.
After liberation, with the approval of the Ministry of civil affairs of the people's Republic of China, Comrade Jiang Wensheng died bravely in the first domestic revolutionary war and was named a revolutionary martyr. His hometown Yandun village was awarded the title of "old Soviet Area".
