Han Dong
Han Dong, a famous poet, writer and director, graduated from the Philosophy Department of Shandong University. He has been a teacher of Xi'an Shaanxi University of Finance and economics, and a teacher of Nanjing Institute of audit. In 1992, he resigned and became a freelance writer. He was employed by Guangdong Writers Association as a contract producer, and then transferred to Shenzhen Nick Art Company as a professional writer. Director of Jiangsu Writers Association. Published in 1980. He joined the Chinese Writers Association in 1990.
In 2017, he directed the film "at the dock" and was shortlisted in the new wave competition unit of Busan International Film Festival.
Character experience
In 1985, he organized "their literature society" and once edited "them" 1-5, which is regarded as the most important representative of "the third generation of poetry", forming their poetry group which has an important influence on the third generation of poetry. The poets of their poetry group think that "poetry is up to language", emphasize the importance of oral writing, and their works have played a positive role in promoting the development of modern Chinese poetry.
Main works
Han Dong is the author of a series of novels, such as the West sky, my Plato, our bodies, the novels rooted, me and you, the poetry lucky tiger, Dad watching me in the sky, the poetry cross running, the prose love mechanics, and the interview with Mao Yan. His works have been translated into many languages.
In 2017, the film "at the dock", supervised by Jia Zhangke and directed by writer Han Dong, was shortlisted in the new wave competition unit of Busan International Film Festival.

Born in Nanjing in May 1961. At the age of 8, he was sent to the countryside of Northern Jiangsu with his parents. He graduated from the Philosophy Department of Shandong University in 1982.
