Bao Zhengfang made his debut in 1976 (at the age of 16). From 1976 to 1979, he went to Japan to release a single every year, with a total of four Japanese singles. Later, he was invited back to Taiwan in 1980. In 1980, he returned to Taiwan to release his first Mandarin album "cool autumn" and sang the theme song of the same year. Bao Zhengfang is the first generation of female singers in Taiwan. Shen Yan and Jiang Ling also played in the same period. The style of the song is fresh and natural, refined and pure.
