Xie Zhengjun, born in July 1964, doctor of engineering, associate professor and master supervisor of School of food, Jiangnan University.

Personal experience

Member of feed branch of China Grain and oil society, member of Jiangsu food society. Since January 2010, he has been deputy director of major projects and funds Department of Academy of science and technology of Jiangnan University, and vice president of Academy of science and technology of Jiangnan University since January 2015.

duty:

1. To be responsible for the application and management of all kinds of major scientific research projects, scientific research plans and NSFC projects of science and engineering at national, provincial, municipal and university levels;

2. Assist the president to draft and revise important reports, scientific research management documents, medium and long-term plans and annual plans for scientific research;

3. Responsible for organizing the formulation of the annual work plan and work objectives, checking and implementing them, and writing work summary, etc;

4. Responsible for the organization, application, approval, review, inspection and final acceptance of various scientific research projects;

5. Assist in the work of military science and technology office;

7. Complete other tasks assigned by the leaders of the University and the Institute of science and technology.

Research direction

The main research fields are agricultural and sideline product resources development, carbohydrate resources development and utilization, carbohydrate biotechnology, food and feed extrusion technology.

academic achievements

He has successively presided over or participated in the national high tech research and development program (863 Program), the international cooperation program of the Ministry of science and technology, the national science and technology support program of the 11th Five Year Plan and the 12th Five Year Plan, and the natural science foundation of Jiangsu Province. In the past five years, he has published more than 20 papers in core journals at home and abroad (including 5 included in SCI), and the chief editor has participated in publishing 6 monographs; he has applied for 16 invention patents, including 6 authorized ones.

Honorary awards
