Liu Xinyu
He has been engaged in the research of new material synthesis and its performance improvement for a long time. He has presided over and participated in 8 national level projects, such as national key scientific and technological research projects, "863" project, National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Torch Program, more than 10 provincial and ministerial level projects and major technological transformation projects, and undertaken more than 20 scientific research projects entrusted by enterprises.

He received a doctor's degree in engineering in 1990 and was promoted to Professor in 1991. Since 1992, he has been the director of Institute of tungsten and molybdenum materials of Central South University of technology, vice director of Youth Work Committee of China Society for materials research, and doctoral supervisor of Central South University of technology in 1998. Currently, he is the doctoral supervisor of Central South University, director of Guangxi Key Laboratory of information materials, and distinguished professor of Guangxi Bagui scholars.
He has won 4 provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards, 2 national invention patents, and published more than 200 academic papers, of which more than 140 have been included in SCI and EI.
Five doctors, one postdoctoral and more than 20 masters have been trained; six doctoral students, two postdoctoral and 12 master students are being supervised.
