Early experience
Zhou Pu was born in Beijing and studied in Guanyuan primary school in Xicheng District of Beijing. At the age of 8, Zhou Pu studied Peking Opera with her grandfather Feng yuzeng and joined Beijing Chunya children's Jingkun Art Troupe. At the age of 11, Zhou Pu was admitted to Beijing opera school, majoring in literary ugliness.
Acting experience

Personal life
Zhou Pu's grandfather is Feng yuzeng, a clown in Beijing Opera Theater. After graduating from Beijing Opera School in 1997, Zhou Pu entered Beijing opera academy. In 2000, he was admitted to the Department of performing arts of Capital Normal University for further study. In 2002, after finishing her studies, Zhou Pu continued to work in Beijing Opera Theater.
