Xu Guang
Xu Guang, male, Han nationality, was born in June 1960 in Dangyang, Hubei Province. He graduated from the Department of economics of Tianjin University. He started work in August 1977 and joined the Communist Party of China in June 1984. He once served as vice governor and member of the Party group of Henan Provincial People's government.
On the morning of January 11, 2021, the Qingdao intermediate people's Court of Shandong Province publicly sentenced Xu Guang to 11 years' imprisonment and a fine of 1 million yuan for bribery. Xu Guang said in court that he would obey the court's decision and would not appeal.

Prosecution
In April 2020, Xu Guang, former member of the Party group and vice governor of Henan Provincial People's government, was transferred to the Supreme People's Procuratorate for examination and prosecution after the investigation by the State Supervision Commission. The Supreme People's Procuratorate, having been designated to have jurisdiction over the case, shall submit the case to the Qingdao people's Procuratorate of Shandong Province for examination and prosecution.
