Huajian
Hua Jian, female, Han nationality, born in 1953 in Shandong Province, is a member of the Communist Party of China with a postgraduate degree.
He used to be deputy director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council.

Biography of characters
He has successively served as deputy researcher and Secretary of the general office of the Research Office of Jiangsu provincial Party committee, secretary and deputy director of the general office of the Ministry of chemical industry, and director of the general office of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Macao.
Since 2003, he has been the director of the Liaison Department of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, responsible for working liaison and news publicity with the two SAR governments.
From 2008 to 2013, he served as deputy director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council. She is the first female deputy director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council since its establishment in 1978.
Appointment and removal information
March 25, 2008: Hua Jian (female) was appointed deputy director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council.
In June 2013, Huajian (female) was removed from the post of deputy director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council.
