Jiang Bo (1914-1987.10.10) was born in Huang'an County, Hubei Province. In 1928, he joined the guerrillas in Huang'an county. He joined the Communist Youth League of China in 1931. He was transferred to the Communist Party of China in 1933. He took part in the counter "encirclement and suppression" and the long march in the Soviet areas of Hubei, Henan, Anhui, Sichuan and Shaanxi. He studied in Yan'an Anti Japanese university in 1937. He studied in Yan'an Central Party School in 1943. He was promoted to the rank of major general in 1961.
