Born in July 1963 in Anqing, Anhui Province, he graduated from the Department of fine arts of PLA Academy of art in 1989, majoring in Chinese painting. He is a member of China Artists Association and a national first-class artist. Now he is a full-time painter in Chinese Academy of painting, China Academy of Arts. He has been rated as one of the most potential painters by many art institutions.
