Liu ruizhang, a professor, was born in Jilin City, Jilin Province in 1923, where he spent his primary school days. In the spring of 1938, he studied in the Middle School of Lushun University. After graduating from middle school, he was admitted to Shenyang Manzhou Medical University in 1942 and stayed in his alma mater to teach after graduating in 1948. In 1955, the Department was adjusted and moved to Harbin. He was a lecturer, associate professor and professor in the school of public health of Harbin Medical University.
