Acting experience

At the end of 2006, Wei Li'an, who had never participated in any singing competition, signed up to participate in the first campus singing competition held by happy Sunday at Taiwan University. He won the championship with a song you're beautiful. After winning the championship, he didn't rush to make films like others. Instead, he submerged himself and worked hard to create.

Since 2006, he has started to upload his music creation on the website of streetvoice, where the creators gather. By 2009, Wei Lian has uploaded nearly 70 pieces of creation on this website. Among the nearly 70 pieces of creation, "slowly waiting" has been uploaded on February 9, 2007, and has remained in the top three of the station's on-demand list for two years.

At the beginning of 2009, Wei Li'an signed a contract with Fumao records, and on March 13, he released his first EP "slow wait".

On June 4, 2010, he released his own album of the same name "Wei Li an", followed by the film "what bird day" invested in by fearing Fu Mao records; on September 18 and 25, he held a solo concert "the escape of two legged bookcase" in Taiwan.

In 2011, he was shortlisted in the four major awards of the 22nd Taiwan Golden Melody Awards, and finally won the "best newcomer" of the Golden Melody Awards.

On August 3, 2012, the second personal album "someone is waiting" was released and won the "best album" in the 13th Global Chinese Songs List; on November 10, 2012, the "Impressionist through my lens" concert was held in Hong Kong.

In 2013, he won three awards including "Hong Kong and Taiwan's best songwriter" in MusicRadio China top list.

On March 25, 2014, he released his third personal album "be afraid", and won the "best original singer" at the kugou Music Festival on May 22. On September 20, he held "verian live Beijing Concert beside you" in Beijing candy Tango (the original star scene), which was his first personal concert in Beijing.

On June 27, 2015, Wei Lian won the "best composer" award of the 26th Taiwan Golden Melody Award for his single "wolf"; on September 12, he held a "free that girl" concert in Taipei's little dome.

On October 5, 2015, on the starry sky stage of the simple life festival in Shanghai, William Wei sang for 1 hours in the rain, and the scene became a concert of "condensed essence".

On May 14, 2016, Wei Li'an held a concert in Taipei; on July 10, as a member of Wang Leehom, he joined the music program "geishiyinxiong", which is his first time to participate in a variety show; on August 15, his fourth personal album "hard stamp" began to be pre purchased in Taiwan, and was officially released in Taiwan on August 16. In December, he and Guo Jing sang "the old scenery once knew" for the TV series "Gu Fang does not appreciate himself".
