Chai Shuai
Chai Shuai, an erhu teacher, is a member of Erhu society of Chinese Musicians Association.
At the age of 8, he studied erhu with his father and successively studied under the famous performer and educator Dai Zhixiong, Duan Yongqiang, Cao Dewei and an ruli. In 1996, he was admitted to the Affiliated Middle School of China Conservatory of music. In 2002, he was promoted to the Department of national music. In 2006, he was recommended to the Graduate Department of China Conservatory of music.

He successfully held four "Chai Shuai erhu solo concerts" in July 2004, June 2009 and June 2015, and has performed in the National Grand Theater, Zhongshan concert hall, Shenzhen concert hall and Guangzhou concert hall for many times.
He has visited more than ten countries and regions in Asia, Europe and Africa for cultural exchange performances. In particular, the performance of the "dialogue between tradition and Modernity" chamber music concert held by Lincoln Center in the United States has won high praise from foreign audiences and media.
