At the end of the 2018 Sudoku championship, more than 10 new types of questions have been added to the competition. Finally, Wang Shiyao won the "standard Sudoku king" award. On November 7, 2018, the 13th world Sudoku championship was held in Prague, the capital of Czech Republic. Wang Shiyao, a 14-year-old Chinese player, won the Best Newcomer Award.
