Early experience
Dai Yuqiang was born in 1963 to a farmer in Wen'an County, Hebei Province. In 1980, Dai Yuqiang was admitted to the civil engineering major of Beijing coal mine school. In 1984, he was admitted to the song and dance theater of Shanxi Province and was sent to the Central Academy of drama to study. He studies while working. At the end of 1989, Dai Yuqiang finally entered the General Administration opera company with his own strength.
Acting experience
In 1991, he was admitted to the PLA Academy of art. He graduated first in 1993.
In 1996, he won the second prize of Bel Canto group in the first national vocal music competition of the Ministry of culture; in the same year, he went to Shizuoka, Japan to participate in the International Opera Competition and won the first prize. In 1999, he won the first prize of drama performance in the 7th military art performance. In the Spring Festival of 2001, he took part in the performance of CCTV Spring Festival Gala, singing the song "family photo"; in September of the same year, tenor Pavarotti flew to Milan to "fulfill" his "apprenticeship contract" with Dai Yuqiang, led by Pavarotti, and several Italian artists gave Dai Yuqiang a half month lecture. In March 2015, he participated in the finals of the third season of I am a singer and helped Sun Nan sing "you come back soon" + "no one sleeps tonight". On December 2, 2017, Dai Yuqiang's solo concert was held in Lanzhou. Chinese songs such as "teach me how not to miss you" and "in that far away place" were well known by people, as well as famous Italian Operas such as "spring breeze, why do you wake me up" and "brilliant stars" were sung in Gansu Grand Theater.
Personal life
Dai Yuqiang's wife Liu Yan is also a singer, and Dai Yuqiang is with the General Administration song and dance troupe. The two met during a performance of condolence by the general administration. Through the subsequent contact, Dai Yuqiang moved Liu Yan with his sincerity. They entered the palace of marriage in 1993 and are recognized as model couples in the entertainment circle. Their daughter, Dai Ziyi, made an album when she was ten years old.
