Yu Dahai
Yu Dahai, born in Haicheng, Liaoning Province in August 1939, graduated from the Department of veterinary medicine of Beijing Agricultural University (now China Agricultural University) with a master's degree in veterinary medicine in 1968. He joined the Communist Party of China in June 1976 and served as deputy director of the State Administration for entry exit inspection and quarantine.
Character experience
from May 1968 to October 1990, he worked in Harbin Institute of veterinary medicine, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences as assistant researcher, associate researcher, director of research office and assistant director. During this period, he went to Hokkaido University for two years in 1982 and received a doctor's degree in veterinary medicine from Hokkaido University in 1988. He has presided over more than 10 scientific research and development projects, including the "Seventh Five Year Plan" key projects of the Ministry of agriculture, and has repeatedly won the science and technology progress award of the Ministry of agriculture and the National Invention Award. from 1986 to 1989, he presided over the research of non-specific inhibitor of animal virus in animal serum, which was funded by the National Science Foundation of China. It was the first time in the world that there was a non-specific inhibitor of avian bursal disease virus in bovine serum. From October 1990 to July 1994, he served as deputy director and member of the Party group of the General Institute of animal and plant quarantine of the people's Republic of China; from July 1994 to April 1998, he served as director and Secretary of the Party group of the animal and Plant Quarantine Bureau of the people's Republic of China; from April 1998, he served as deputy director and member of the Party group of the State Administration for entry exit inspection and Quarantine of the people's Republic of China.
