At present, he is the deputy director of soil pollution prevention and control research center of Nanjing Institute of Environmental Sciences, Ministry of environmental protection, director of soil and groundwater pollution control research office, member of Academic Committee of Nanjing Institute of Environmental Sciences, tutor of off campus master students of Southeast University and Hohai University, and the first batch of top-notch young talents of national environmental protection specialty.

Engaged in soil and groundwater pollution prevention and control, contaminated site investigation and assessment and remediation work. He presided over and participated in more than 10 research projects, including 863 project of the 12th Five Year Plan, equipment and demonstration of physicochemical and bioremediation technology for sites contaminated by easily diffusible organic solvents, and major public welfare project of environmental protection, research on identification standards and control technology for typical high-risk contaminated sites. He also participated in the formulation of series of national environmental protection standards for contaminated sites, and conducted research on more than 20 industrial and agricultural contaminated sites in China 8 SCI papers were published.
