Chen Chao, born in Yichang City, Hubei Province on October 24, 1989, graduated from Huazhong University of science and technology and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is a female host and actor from the mainland of China. She is a Chinese English bilingual host of Hubei satellite TV. She is the second top ten TV host star in China. She has hosted the Spring Festival Gala of Hubei satellite TV, the root seeking festival in the hometown of the world Chinese Emperor Yan and the Shennong ceremony of visiting Emperor Yan for five consecutive years.
On January 22, 2009, Chen Chao presided over the 2009 Spring Festival Gala of China Education Television. On March 26, 2011, he presided over the opening ceremony and press conference of the 18th Beijing University Students Film Festival. In November 2013, he presided over the pure culture column "Yangtze River culture tide" of Hubei satellite TV. In April 2015, he served as the Secretary of the entertainment talk show "informal talks" of Hubei satellite TV. In 2016, he took part in the Anti Japanese war drama Yichang defense.
Early experience
After finishing primary school in Yichang, Chen Chao followed his parents north to Beijing to study in the middle school affiliated to Tsinghua University; two years later, he went south to Wuhan to study in the First Affiliated Middle School of Huazhong Normal University.
In 2007, he was admitted to the school of journalism, Huazhong University of science and technology, majoring in radio and television. During his schooling, he served as a bilingual broadcaster of Yuyuan radio in Chinese and English and a news anchor of the University's TV station. He presided over dozens of national, provincial and university level parties. His master degree graduated from the Journalism Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Acting experience
In January 2009, Chen Chao was selected as the host of the Spring Festival Gala of China Education TV station. On January 22, Chen Chao, together with Pu Cunxin and Jiang Xiaohan, hosted the Spring Festival Gala of China Education TV station in 2009. In April, Chen Chao participated in shooting the TV propaganda film for the 60th anniversary of the founding of Hubei Daily.
On March 26, 2011, Chen Chao and Yang Zhenglong, a graduate student of Hong Kong Baptist University, jointly presided over the opening ceremony and press conference of the 18th Beijing University Students Film Festival; on May 4, Chen Chao, Zhu Jun and Dong Qing jointly presided over the cultural and artistic evening of "flowers in May always follow the party" broadcast live by CCTV.
In November 2013, he presided over the pure culture column "Yangtze River culture tide" of Hubei satellite TV. In September 2014, he participated in the moral talk show "here comes the Lord of Bao" of Hubei satellite TV.
In April 2015, he served as the Secretary of the entertainment talk show "informal talks" of Hubei satellite TV. In 2016, she played female medical student Ning jingni in the Anti Japanese war drama Yichang defense directed by Qi Xing.
In March 2016, he participated in the second season of China's first indoor talk show "don't worry today" of Hubei satellite TV and served as the "worry observer group". On June 1, he presided over the roots seeking festival in the hometown of the Chinese Emperor Yan and the ceremony of paying homage to Shennong. In September, as a resident female, she participated in the national sports variety show "sunshine art".
On May 21, 2017, he presided over the opening ceremony of the root seeking festival in the hometown of Emperor Yan and the grand ceremony of paying homage to Emperor Yan. On July 4, he presided over the opening ceremony of the Eighth China Three Gorges International Tourism Festival. In September, he and Zhu Guangquan co hosted the Hubei chapter of "still looking at the present" produced by CCTV. In December, he hosted Hubei satellite TV's cultural and emotional program "Diary of wind".
On June 9, 2018, he presided over the opening ceremony of the root seeking festival in 1898 and the ceremony of paying homage to Yandi Shennong. In December, he presided over the new year's day drama evening of Hubei satellite TV in 2019.
On February 4, 2019, I participated in the countdown to the 2019 Spring Festival Gala of CCTV variety channel. On February 6, he presided over "love of the Yangtze River - Spring Festival Gala of 12 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Basin". On May 30, he presided over the opening ceremony of the root seeking festival in the hometown of the world Chinese Emperor Yan and the grand ceremony of paying homage to Shennong. In August, he presided over the public welfare cultural reading program "children's voice Lang Lang" of Hubei satellite TV. In October, he hosted the large-scale interview program "I love you China" of Hubei satellite TV. On December 31, he and Zhu Guangquan hosted the first New Year Party of BiliBili, a video website.
On May 18, 2020, he presided over the root seeking festival of Yan Emperor's hometown in the year of gengzi and the grand ceremony of paying homage to Yan Emperor Shennong. On June 26, he took part in CCTV variety channel "golden 100 seconds" and played two roles for Nezha's mother and son. On December 31, he Bing and Sabine co hosted the "2020 most beautiful night bilibilibili party" jointly launched by CCTV and BiliBili.
