Yin Xiangjie, born on February 15, 1969 in Fangshan District, Beijing, is a native of Houcun Town, Lanshan District, Rizhao City, Shandong Province. He graduated from Beijing Yuying high school in July 1987. From March 1988 to November 1989, he was a soloist in Beijing advertising art troupe. In October 1988, he won the third prize of the national "red horse Cup" Grand Prix.
