Early experience

Shi Jieyong's father is Shi Weiliang, a famous composer of national music school. Shi Jieyong began to learn piano in primary school and graduated from the music class of Guangren middle school in 1973. In middle school, he studied flute. Later, he entered the composing Department of the National Academy of Arts and studied theoretical composition. He graduated from the National Taiwan Academy of Arts in 1978.

Acting experience

Shi Jieyong served in the Lu Guang art team during his military service, and then worked as a record producer in Aibo record company. In the era of Taiwan's film boom, Shi Jieyong was promoted by director Chen Yaoqi, the boss of Yongsheng film company, and entered the creative field of film music and advertising music. Personal life

On the evening of August 19, 2011, Shi Jieyong, the conductor, performed "golden age Chinese Film Theater - film phantom symphony show". After fainting due to heart disease, he was rushed to the emergency room of National Taiwan University Hospital, where he received cardiac surgery and transferred to intensive care unit. Zhang Longyun, director of the Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra, said that Shi Jieyong was still conscious when he was in the emergency room, but he fell into a coma after undergoing an operation and was transferred to the intensive care unit.
