Life of the characters
In 1937, Taishan Anti Japanese propaganda and performance team was organized. In 1938, he went to Yan'an to study in the Music Department of Lu Xun art college. In the same year, he was a researcher in the advanced research class of the music department. In 1939, he went to Chongqing to set up a new music club and was chief editor of new music monthly. In 1941, he organized an anti Japanese drama team with guangweiran in Myanmar. In 1943, he was the chief editor of the Chinese Symphony Orchestra in Chongqing, and the director of the music group of Yucai School. In 1946, Zhonghua Zhou music school was founded in Shanghai. From 1947 to Hong Kong, he founded the Chinese Conservatory of music with Zhao and others. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, he served as deputy dean of the Central Conservatory of music and deputy head of the central song and dance troupe in 1952. In 1956, he participated in the preparation of the central Orchestra and served as its head. In 1982, he was the president of China Conservatory of music and chief editor of Chinese music. He was elected as the first executive director, the second director, the third vice chairman and the fourth vice chairman of the Chinese Musicians Association. He was the fourth national member of the China Federation of literary and art circles in 1979. His works include new music anthology, Guangdong music, random talk on music (4 episodes), Yuehua, random talk on art, etc. He died on November 3, 2003, marking the end of his 90 year life.
