Wang Jiani, born in Qinghai in June 1991, is a folk singer. Her representative works include "a man watching a small ball", "Ming Guang" and "Sunday morning where are you".

Life experience

Playing piano since childhood, junior high school began to be interested in guitar and metal music, high school began to write songs, university like blues, jazz, British and electronic, and jazz ballad creation. In early 2010, he began to perform in Houhai. In recent years, he has performed in many hotels and cafes in Beijing. His repertoire style is mainly jazz. At the same time, we have continued to perform original works in live cafes and bars in Gulou area for several years. As a new domestic independent music star, you can see Joan Baez, Tori Amos, Beth gibbons and even Zhang Qianqian on the scene. Maybe it's the rebirth of a jazz actress in the 1940s and 1950s, or the return of Hippie ballads in the 1960s and 1970s. She's just a simple girl. It's good to have a song to sing and someone to listen to. When we are lost in the maze of youth, we believe that Janie of Christ will write a song with firm will and light tenderness and share it. She wanted to spend her life safely in the love of faith. in early 2010, she joined Douban as an independent musician. in the autumn of 2010, she went to Lijiang, Yunnan Province to perform for 4 months, absorbing and learning various folk elements. He returned to Beijing in early 2011. in 2011, he officially established his Christian faith and began to study gospel music. in the autumn of 2013, as an independent musician and singer, she participated in the sixth series of CCTV's nine sets of music Road Tour - the documentary shooting of jazz girls going up the river. in February 2014, he signed a contract with Beijing 6703 folk music club and began a large-scale national tour in the same year. The first EP with the same name was released in September.

EP introduction

Jiani's first EP of the same name has been prepared since the beginning of 2014. It was produced by the famous producer Han Ding, joined by senior musician Wang Qian and guitar player Ouyang Mengxi. In the split of Bossanova, jazz and Baroque, and in the gap of warmth, melancholy and suffering, we seek the unity of opposites in the big concept of "life". this EP has three singles. If we say that "watching a small ball alone" in memory of the animation era is a bashful Carnival of childhood memories in our mind, then the swaying "sunshine shaking on the eyelids" is a textbook to teach people how to understand the girl's first intention. as for the final work Ming Guang, in the interleaving of soft guitar and HTC wind, no matter how the fans regard it as a bright talk or a pathetic creation, no matter how it is classified, Gothic or symphonic, can not stop every word from penetrating into the heart and bone. when the producer was in charge of the post mixing of EP, she found that Jani's voice hardly needed any pruning in the shed.
