Wang Ke
Wang Ke, male, Han nationality, was born in August 1931 in Xiaoxian County, Anhui Province. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1947 and began to work in August 1944. He graduated from the correspondence class for leading cadres of the Central Party school, majoring in economic management.
He was once a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, a member of the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China, a member of the Central Military Commission of the people's Republic of China, and a general of the General Logistics Department of the people's Liberation Army.
Biography of characters
In 1944, he joined the Xiaoxian armed forces. He once served as assistant cultural instructor of East China Field Army company and Deputy instructor of the third field army training team. He participated in the counterattack on Jiaoji road and the Huaihai Campaign. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, he served as the staff officer of the general staff office of the regiment and the headquarters of the division.
In 1953, he joined the war to resist U.S. aggression and aid Korea and served as the commander, deputy commander and chief of staff of the Artillery Corps of the Chinese people's Volunteer Army. After returning to China, he served as section chief of the Training Department of Beijing artillery School of the Chinese people's Liberation Army, deputy director of the Training Department of Wuwei artillery school, deputy division chief and political commissar of the garrison division of Lanzhou Military Region.
He graduated from the military academy in 1980. Later, he served as division commander and army commander.
After 1986, he served as deputy commander of Xinjiang Military Region, deputy commander of Lanzhou Military Region, commander of Xinjiang Military Region and commander of Lanzhou Military Region.
From 1992 to 1995, he served as commander of Shenyang Military Region.
In September 1995, he was added as a member of the Central Military Commission at the Fifth Plenary Session of the 14th CPC Central Committee.
He has been the director of the General Logistics Department of the Chinese people's Liberation Army since 1995.
He was appointed member of the Central Military Commission of the people's Republic of China at the 17th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Eighth National People's Congress in December 1995.
In September 1997, he was elected a member of the Central Military Commission of the CPC at the first plenary session of the 15th CPC Central Committee.
In March 1998, he was elected a member of the Central Military Commission of the people's Republic of China at the first session of the Ninth National People's Congress.
He was awarded the rank of lieutenant general in September 1988. He was awarded the rank of general on June 8, 1994.
