He gave him up to Lei Yi and wrote more than ten letters to Zhang Yun, but Zhang Yun didn't listen. The next year, Lei Yi was elected Xiaolian, and he served in the Lang department.
One of the Lang officials in the Lang office owed hundreds of thousands of yuan in debt. Every day, the creditors came to collect the debt. Chen Chong helped him pay back the money secretly. The Lang Guan later learned and sincerely expressed his thanks. "I didn't do it, there might be people with the same name," he said He never said it was a gift of his own.
Another time, a Langguan who lived in the same room asked for leave to go home for a funeral and mistakenly took a Langguan's pants from the next room to go home. The owner of the pants suspected that he took them. Instead of defending his complaint, he bought a new pair of pants as compensation. Later, after the funeral leave, Lang Guan came back and returned his trousers to Zhao, and the truth came out.
Later, he and Lei Yi were named shangshulang together. Lei Yi took the blame on behalf of others at the same time, so he was dismissed. When he saw Lei Yi leave, he resigned. Later, he was recommended to maocai as the magistrate of Xiyang County. Because of his outstanding achievements, he was elected and should be promoted to Kuaiji prefect. He was killed by his sister and resigned. Later, he was expropriated by situ and served as a censor until his death.
