Character events
Liu Bing is a very famous figure in the history of the Communist Party of China. Because his letter on a piece of paper triggered the famous wind of fighting back against rightist cases, Deng Xiaoping, who came back in 1974, was put in the cold by Mao Zedong at the end of 1975. In August 1975, with the support of several teachers in Tsinghua University, Liu Bing personally wrote a complaint letter against Chi Qun and Xie Jingyi, which was supported by Hu Yaobang and transferred to Mao Zedong by Deng Xiaoping. Mao Zedong was furious. He criticized Liu Bing openly and Deng Xiaoping behind him secretly. Finally, he abolished all Deng Xiaoping's Posts and retained his party membership to see the future effect.
On June 9, 1966, the storm of the "Cultural Revolution" erupted. In October, Liu Bing wrote a letter to Chairman Mao and the Party Central Committee, reflecting the violations of law and discipline and the party's policies by the red guards in Qinghua garden. But there was no response.
In February 1967, Liu Bing and others wrote to Premier Zhou Enlai and the leaders of the Central Cultural Revolution Group, Chen Boda, Jiang Qing and Kang Sheng, to reflect the actual situation of Tsinghua University. However, this letter was not answered by the Central Committee, but was transferred to the rebels represented by Kuai Dafu by some people in the Central Cultural Revolution. As a result, Liu Bing and others were labeled as "February countercurrent of Tsinghua garden".
In August and October 1975, Liu Bing and others wrote two letters to report Chi Qun and Xie Jingyi. Chairman Mao criticized these two letters as "the spearhead is against me", which made Tsinghua University on the cusp of the storm in "criticizing Deng and fighting back the rightist overturning of cases". Liu Bing and others were also called "the vanguard of rightist overturning of cases". Liu Bing and other people's two "petition" can be described as "Liu Bing petition incident".
